Jeanmarie Conlon, 62, of Shelton, CT,
formerly of Stratford, CT, passed away peacefully on
Oct. 7, 2014, at her home in Shelton, CT.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island on October 24, 1951,
she was the daughter of Eugene Joseph Conlon and Margaret
Francis Conlon of Warwick, RI.
Jeanmarie was an abstract artist, teacher, and garden
designer. Painting was her life; she worked in oils and
watercolors and exhibited her work over the last 25 years
in NYC, CA, VT and CT.
Her other great joy was being a mother to her children,
her daughter Vanessa
McDonald Ryan, a television producer in NYC, and
son in law Clark J. Ryan. Jeanmarie' son, Jason E. McDonald,
passed away of illness in 1989, at the age of 14.
Jeanmarie is also survived by her sister Linda Hanick
Weber of Guilford, CT and three brothers, Joseph E. Conlon,
James A. Conlon both of Warwick, RI and Michael E. Conlon
of Springvale, Maine and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her former husband, Thomas C.
McDonald and brother John F. Conlon.
She leaves behind a legacy of artwork and will be deeply
missed by all whose lives she touched. She brought light,
color, joy and love to this world.
